Donovan began his career after graduating from the Worldwide College of Auctioneering in 2004. For over a decade, he gained hands-on experience working with several auction companies across Eastern Iowa, developing deep industry knowledge and a strong commitment to integrity and service.
In 2016, Donovan and his wife Sara founded Eastern Iowa Auction Co., combining years of experience with a shared vision—to provide honest, efficient, and professional auction services to their community. Since then, they’ve built a trusted reputation for hosting semi-annual machinery and construction equipment auctions, along with winter hay auctions that draw participants from across the region.
